Describing Death

by: Shawna LaDelpha (Diamond)

Pain and sorrow
Surround the ones who once cared,
Flying into eternity.
Up or down?
That is the remaining question.
Sleeping upon the clouds
Or burning souls in Hell.
Giving up or giving in.
Pitch forks and flames
Or clouds and laughter.
Ear piercing screams
No one can hear
Up above
With no fears.
A place filled with wonderful things,
Others creep with flame-burning wings.
Lava flows with the souls burned to ebony ash
As stars glow with a flash
Of a new beginning,
Crucifying death.
